New Game Room content delayed

The latest batch of Game Room content has also been delayed until further notice. Although we have been unable to get any word from Krome Studios or Microsoft Game Studio, sources have told us that they are aware of the problem and are working on a solution to bring you this week’s update.
Earlier today we broke the news that the new Game Room content had been delayed on both our official Twitter account @XBLAGameRoom and on our Facebook Page. The same places that we originally stated that the update wouldn’t be coming out until Thursday before we received the official press release from Microsoft stating it would be Wednesday.
Though we have no actual reason for the delay, it appears as though the service is continuing it’s trend to be plagued with problems. The original launch of Game Room back on March 24th was also problematic. Hopefully we’ll see it fixed later today.
Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson, had this to say:
"We’re working to bring you additional Game Room titles as soon as possible! We appreciate your patience, and we’ve been thrilled by the community response so far. We want to provide you with the best experience possible, so stay tuned!!"
“The Microsoft Game Room was designed to look and act like a real arcade, and to an extent it’s succeeded. Unless new games start coming in soon, it risks having more in common with many American arcades than Microsoft wants – it’ll be empty” said blogger Mike Fahey from Kotaku.
We will keep on top of it and let you immediately know when we come up with something concrete, or once a new date is confirmed.
Be sure to follow us on Twitter @XBLAGameRoom and on our Facebook Page to get your notifications on Game Room updates.

Thanks for the update. I was SOOO excited to play Pitfall today (that’s seems weird to say that), but hopefully this will all be figured out and a month from now when we’ve had 3-4 weeks of regular releases, this will all be forgotten.
Shame! We waited one month and now we don’t know what we have to wait. We want a game pack each week, as promised
Hey Chris, its not wierd to say ur excited to play pitfall. I love it and feel the same. I played Pitfall II for months. I’m DYING to play Megamania, if you can believe that. Krome, please, just release the games so we can play. I’m 36 years old and haven’t played some of these games since I was a kid. Bring it.
