Game Room retro arcade titles update for May 19th This upcoming Wednesday, May 19th has Krome Studios and Microsoft releasing yet another seven new retro titles for Game Room as promised. Last week’s update went as planned with no errors or delays and everyone is hoping this week continues that trend! There are some great titles being added to the line-up this week as we mentioned last week on our Twitter account @XBLAGameRoom and on our Facebook Page. Including the return of Time Pilot which was removed from the Xbox LIVE Arcade some time back; and the original Asteroids! Game Room avatar items now available on Xbox LIVE Fanboys rejoice! Starting today, you will be able to purchase Xbox LIVE Avatar items ranging from caps to shirts to props from all your favorite retro game companies such as Intellivision, Activision, Konami and Atari. The prices range from 40 to 240 Microsoft Points. Some of the items are really worth considering in our opinion.

The Game Room update delay is over

The Game Room update delay is over It has just been announced on the official @KromeStudios Twitter that the Xbox LIVE will be getting last weeks delayed seven original arcade and console classics to add to your retro arcade this Wednesday May 5th. From Pitfall! (Activision) to Super Breakout (Atari), next week’s line-up marks the NEW start of a steady stream of arcade hits releasing every Wednesday, exclusively for Game Room on Xbox LIVE.

After last week’s delay, that has still not been explained by either Microsoft or Krome Studios in any detail other than “We are working to bring you additional Game Room titles as soon as possible! More details later…” is looking like it might get back on track this week.

New Game Room content delayed

New Game Room content delayed The latest batch of Game Room content has also been delayed until further notice. Although we have been unable to get any word from Krome Studios or Microsoft Game Studio, sources have told us that they are aware of the problem and are working on a solution to bring you this week’s update.

Earlier today we broke the news that the new Game Room content had been delayed on both our official Twitter account @XBLAGameRoom and on our Facebook Page. The same places that we originally stated that the update wouldn’t be coming out until Thursday before we received the official press release from Microsoft stating it would be Wednesday.
